Advancement of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Award

Awarded to a member who has:

• Significant involvement in projects that support equity, diversity, and inclusion for all, but in particular for historically marginalized groups;

• Involvement with the development of programs that have a positive impact on the lives of marginalized students, in particular those who identify as LGBTQ+ and/or BIPOC;

• Participated in initiatives to enhance involvement, activism, and opportunities for leadership in marginalized groups; and/or

• Involvement in political action and advocacy to protect and enhance equity.

The member's activities may be directed within OSSTF itself, but may also include efforts within their classroom, their workplace, broader social movements, and/or the local, provincial, national, or international community.
