Peter Carroll District Service Award

Named in honour of former District President Peter Carroll, to recognize his unmatched service and commitment to the Federation and District 15.  Peter retired in 2014 after a 48 year career in education, having served as District President for nearly 30 years.

Awarded to a member who has:

• Made an outstanding contribution to the work of the Federation in their Branch and/or the District;

• Done exemplary work as a representative of District 15 in the provincial organization;

• Promoted the strength and the value of the Federation to colleagues, and encouraged other members to become involved in Federation activities;

• Promoted awareness of labour issues in the course of their teaching practice; and/or

• Demonstrated leadership in local labour councils and/or labour unions.
