Local Pride Celebrations

June is recognized as Pride month, both in Canada and in many countries around the world, celebrating, uniting, and empowering people with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions, and is marked with parades, dances, festivals, and other events sponsored and hosted by local charities and volunteer organizations.

Members are encouraged show their support for LGBTQ* persons by participating in local Pride events.

Kawartha Lakes Pride

Kawartha Lakes Pride hosts an annual picnic at the Victoria Park Armoury. In 2018 it will be on Saturday July 14 from 11 - 2pm.  You can find them online on Facebook and Twitter, or you can email them.

Muskoka Pride

Celebrating their 10th anniversary in 2018, Muskoka Pride is hosting more than a week of events from July 20 - 29. Details can be found on their website.
